there and back again, a panda's tale by kevin hu.
Funny, i don't know what to say now... all my thoughts must have been exhausted while i was on the flight back. it's hard to summarized everything that's happened during those four days, but in short it was a full-filling trip and well worth while.
To those people who might be reading and feeling lost, yes, i did went to perth for four days since last friday, and yep, this is my first time blogging and so lack of organization and randomness in this passage is to be expected.
My first impression of perth was that it was quiet, not just ordinarily quiet, but silent like those suspense-thriller movies where the main charactor is about to open the door with the monster inside. On the first day i woke up in the middle of the night feeling like time has stopped, because it was so stunning quiet. Luckily a strong head-bump on to the back wall brought me back into reality....though the throbbing headache lasted a while.
I guess to someone looking for fun and excitement perth really is a hole(no offence!), when compared to cities like sydney, but then it's really relaxed, which is a good atmosphere to be in after two weeks of exam marathon.
it was great to see everyone again, del, jess, ron, sam, ray and cindy, being with you guys was awesome, and i wish i could swapped you for my friends in melbourne. In some ways, it felt like no one really changed much since, i mean, when we talked it was as though i was back in taiwan. Ray is still the compulsive photographer. sam was pretty quiet as usual, which was unfortunate because i didn't talk much to her, though she wore a dress on saturday which was a rare sight^^(can't remember the last time she did that). Jess spent the most of the chinese school time doing math work...which somehow reminded me of taiwan again, but she was too good for the text that we were doing anyway. In fact, the fks stuff was pretty easy, and i think it's below everyone's standard there. Maybe the new teacher will introduce a more challenging course.
Del was still the good old del^^, looking very pretty in the black leather jacket and jeans. someday i have to get some fashion tips on how to dress from her~. hmm... i really miss her now, that's only bad thing about this trip, because i start missing everyone again very badly><
Oh yeah, before i mentioned that no one really changed, well i was wrong(slaps own face in shock) cindy changed! well, she is no longer a vegetarian, but now back to a normal healthy omnivore^^ Thank god she came to the restaurant with us, or else i might not have the chance to see her at all during my short stay.
well, that's it from me today, wimbeldon is on and Federer is out kicking ass, i am not gonna miss it.
